Rufus is a realistic handcrafted Red Tree Kangaroo stuffed animal. He is a soft plush toy with airbrushed details.
They are Australia’s largest tree-dwelling mammal. They are marsupials, which means that their babies are carried in a tummy pouch. They leap from tree to tree to get around and have sponge-like pads on their paws and the bottoms of their feet to help them climb. They don’t sweat but lick their forearms to cool down.
Rufus measures 26cm/10.2″ in length or 36cm/14.1″ including the tail, 18cm/6.6″ in width and 25cm/9.8″ in height or 27cm/10.6″ to the top of the ears.
The stuffing for Rufus was made using 28 recycled plastic bottles from regenerated ocean waste.
