Bocchetta Jake 38cm Sitting Kelpie Weighted Doorstop Plush Toy - Black/Tan (Australian Stuffed Animal Dog)

Jake is a handmade, airbrushed sitting black and tan Kelpie, made weighted so he sits solidly wherever you put him.

Bocchetta replaces some of Jake's standard stuffing with PE pellets to add the weight. Choose 1kg or 2kg: a lighter weight keeps him easy to pick up and carry around, while a heavier one gives a firmer, more settled feel. The Kelpie was bred in Australia in the 1800s from Scottish collies, to work livestock in a harsh climate.

Ways People Use Him

• Emotional support companion: something reassuring to hold on a hard day, during a busy period or a big life change
• Comfort at home: settled across the lap while reading or watching TV, or beside you in bed at night
• Calm company for older people: a familiar, dog-like weight on the lap for aged-care residents and people living alone
• Remembering a pet: a lifelike Australian Kelpie for anyone who has lost a much-loved dog
• Study and work: a weighted friend on the lap at the desk or during long online sessions
• Travel and new places: a familiar companion for hotel stays, hospital visits or moving house
• Doorstop: the flat sitting base can hold an internal door open; choose 2kg or more if you plan to use it as a doorstop
