Birds of the Cook Islands
Twelve beautiful birds of the Kūki ’Āirani – the Cook Islands – each with its Cook Islands Māori name, English name and one fascinating fact. All six living endemic land birds are here, from the famous kākerōri (Rarotonga monarch), saved from just 29 birds in 1989, to the kopeka (Atiu swiftlet) that finds its way through dark caves by clicking like a bat.
On this print:
- Kākerōri · Kura · Kūkupa · Kopeka · Tanga’eo · ’Ī’oi · Kerearako · Rupe · Kākāia · Tavake · Tōrea · Ngōio
- Māori and English names on every card
- One memorable, accurate fact per species
A lovely piece for kids’ rooms, classrooms, bird lovers and anyone with Cook Islands connections.
Printed on premium stock and finished with a durable matte laminate that cuts glare and wipes clean. Water-resistant and built to last, so it stays bright on the wall for years. Size: A4 – 210mm x 297mm.
