We like the neutral soft distressed leather uppers on these comfortable ladies sandals. We're also loving the new chestnut like colour version of the Mini Alegria Sole unit, they are less chunky than the classic rocker sole at 3.5 cm rather than 4.5cm high, but still provide the same comfort and front rocker motion (just a bit less pronounced). Shown here neutral brush strokes of multi toned lighter and darker sand leather uppers, these will go with anything this Spring / Summer. The moulded brass coloured metal buttons on the 2 adjustable velcro straps are decorative and add a touch more style. They have a soft sand leather lining with brown stitching to match the sole unit and the iconic Alegria Butterfly is displayed in contrasting cream. The Vienna sandal is slightly different to the Verona as the back strap is not adjustable - and that's just the way some of our Alegria customers like it.

The 2 front leather lined straps are fully adjustable which is so important for finding that perfect fit for all day comfort. The non adjustable back leather strap has additional cushioning built in for added comfort. These comfortable sandals also benefit from the patented Alegria interlocking foot bed system. A memory foam layer sits on top of a cushioned polyurethane and cork foot bed and together with the suede leather top layer, this anatomic foot bed provides great arch support and all day comfort.

Though slimmer and less chunky than the classic chunky rocker sole, these Alegria sandals are on the mini rocker which also have a flat bottomed anti slip sole with a mild front rocker that helps your feet roll naturally as you walk. This will alleviate pressure on your heels and toes as well as encouraging proper posture and gait.

 

Why do you say that Alegria Footwear is not suitable for orthotics?

Although the patented inter locking foot bed does come out of all the Alegria styles we sell, the purpose for this is so that you can replace them with a new foot bed - sold separately. When removed, the cavity they leave is very deep and there is a ridge for the inter locking system. Therefore, we state that they are not suitable for orthotics.
